Apple iCal Setup with Google Calendar

These instructions will help you setup Apple iCal on your Mac OSX to subscribe to Lightning98 Google Calendar:
  1. Use mouse to select the URL listed next to the "ICAL" icon on this page and click on "Edit -> Copy".
  2. Start iCal (if not active already).
  3. Select "Calendar -> Subscribe" in the menu.
  4. Click on "Edit -> Paste" to populate URL. Confirm selection.
  5. Lightning 98 calendar should be recognized in iCal: you can adjust "Auto-refresh" option - we recommend refresh hourly or daily.
This procedure has been tested using both Firefox and Safari browsers on iMac. Once the process is complete, it will automatically sync your iCal calendar with Lightning98 Google Calendar. If you use iPhone, most likely calendar entries will be automatically updated (this has not been tested, so please confirm if it works).

Microsoft Outlook 2007 Setup with Google Calendar

These are instructions to setup Microsfot Outlook 2007 to subscribe to Lightning98 Google Calendar (not tested with Outlook 2003 or prior versions):
  1. Use mouse to select the URL listed next to the "ICAL" icon on this page and click on "Edit -> Copy".
  2. Start Microsoft Outlook 2007 (if not active already).
  3. Select "Tools -> Account Settings -> Internet Calendars tab" in the menu.
  4. Click on icon "New" and you will be prompted to enter URL. Paste the URL and confirm selection by clicking "Add".
  5. Enter manually folder name and the description (for some reason Outlook does not read it from the calendar definition). Click on "OK" button.
  6. Now you can close "Account Settings" windows and the new calendar should be in the list of your calendars. Check the box next to the calendar name and it will display entries in the calendar area.
